7.5 More Weeks

Somehow seven-and-a-half more weeks sounds shorter to me than 2 months. And since my baby is going to be about two weeks early, I really only have 5-and-a-half more weeks to go! But then again...he'll probably actually be two weeks late...nine-and-a-half weeks is way too long to wait!
My next appointment is on Wednesday and I'm really hoping the doctor is going to be super insightful and say something to the effect of, "That's one big, healthy baby, he's going to be born in exactly 5.5 more weeks." Doubtful, but it would be nice. :)
Last week my awesome friends: Erica, Natascha, and Jenny threw me a really cute baby shower. Natascha took lots of pictures and I'm hoping she'll share them with me so I can post them on here so you all can feel like you were there! But for now, here's the picture she posted on my FB wall.

They did a cookies and milk theme complete with both regular and chocolate milk, lots of varieties of cookies, and of course, Monterey Doughnuts. Mmmm. So delicious! It was a really fun night and it was great to relax and chat with all my friends and two of my young women who were able to come. And my baby boy is going to be one stylish dude with all the awesome outfits they picked out for him.
When I found out he was going to be a boy I was slightly disheartened because all the girl clothes and accessories are so cute. But, now little boy things seem even cuter to me. It's so fun to see all the cute outfits, toys, blankets, and little boy things. I'm really getting excited for him to arrive. I did all his laundry so everything is clean and ready to dress him up in. I can't wait! This is worse than waiting for Christmas!!
