The crib arrived and there was minimal damage to the box. I was a little worried because the man who delivered it to me was not too gentle with it; and, after being loaded and unloaded onto a delivery truck several times I was really worried it was going to be really beaten up. But to my surprise it was in pretty good shape. I decided to open the box to make sure all the wood was looking good and didn't have any dents or dings that would bother me a lot. And after looking over all the pieces and not seeing a single scratch, I just couldn't help myself. 45 minutes later, I have an awesome crib in my baby's room! It was surprisingly easy to put together especially after putting together the drawer on the changing table. I was just planning on doing a little bit before Tyler got home, but it was just so easy...not to mention fun! So here's the completed crib:
Now I'm worried I'm not going to have anything to do until September!! I guess there's still cleaning and organizing, but realistically there's always going to be cleaning and organizing that needs to be done! And that's not nearly as fun as putting a crib together!

That crib looks great! I can't believe you got it together so quick. I should have had you here when I was putting the desk together. I think it took a couple evenings.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog. Thanks for starting it up. I need to send you the link to grandma's trip to David York's wedding. It is on April's blog.
Love,
Dad
