Disappointment

We had our doctor's appointment today. It was slightly more interesting than usual-but disappointing nonetheless. Apparently this baby is really enjoying living in my uterus and seems to want to stay put as long as possible. What we learned today: my uterus is the same size it was last week. I'm dilated to a 1...or the doctor was just trying to make me feel better about not really being dilated so he gave me a 1. The doctor seems to think the baby's going to be staying inside me for a couple more weeks. I did ask him about being induced. He said next week he'd do an ultrasound and see how things are going. If anything worries him, then he'll thinking about inducing me. Otherwise, I'm going to have to be patient and wait until my due date if I want to be induced. But he did say he didn't want me to get further along than one week past my due date.
The good news is, I'm pretty sure Tyler is happy about all of this. I want to have the baby tonight and Tyler seems to like the idea of having at least another 2 weeks before the baby arrives. "There's so much I need to do first!" - Tyler.
"Bah-humbug" is all I have to say to that.
Well, however you want to look at it...I'm going to have a baby in 3 weeks and 3 days at the absolute latest. But that seems like forever away!!
Being pregnant, swollen, sore, hot, and tired does not make me a patient person.
